We're on day 2 of the government shutdown and it makes me think of how differences in teams and groups across various industries can lead to extremely dramatic situations of conflict. It's not often something that suddenly appears out of the blue, but often is more of a "straw that breaks the camel's back" that leads to a final showdown or catastrophe. So, while your team may not be at that deadlock stage, there are some behavior warning signs that you can look for to help you head-off the ultimate conflict.
